The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 64th Annual Chairman's Ball on Friday, Oct. 2, at South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center in League City.
The black-tie gala will honor outgoing 2025/2026 Chairman of the Board Amy Doherty and swear in incoming chairman Jay Coppock for the 2026/2027 term. The event also serves as the chamber's annual celebration of its membership, according to the chamber's event page.
Individual tickets cost $175. A two-ticket package is available for $300, saving buyers $50 off the single-ticket price, while supplies last. Sponsorships range from $750 to $4,000.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a cocktail hour. The program begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 8 p.m. and the leadership recognition and swearing-in ceremony at 8:30 p.m. Dancing with PRP Entertainment runs from 9:15 p.m. until the event ends at 11 p.m.
Formal attire is required. Men are asked to wear black tie or a dark suit.
Several area businesses have already signed on as sponsors. Underwriter-level sponsors include HomeTown Bank N.A., Kemah Boardwalk, Motu Stop and Openland Credit Union. Major sponsors include Fertitta Chevrolet, UTMB Health, Memorial Hermann Health System, Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital, South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center, Robinette & Company Caterers, and Galveston Limousine & Transportation.
The chamber announced on X that sponsorships and tickets went on sale Thursday, Aug. 27.
South Shore Harbour Resort is located at 2500 South Shore Blvd. The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is based at 100 Perkins Ave., Suite D1, in League City. Tickets and sponsorship details are available through the chamber's online event registration page.
