Clear Springs High School student Jennie Criddle won two Grand Champion titles at the 2026 Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo. CCISD students swept top awards across livestock, agricultural mechanics and creative arts at the event, which ran Sept. 18–26 at the Pasadena Convention Center, according to the district.

Criddle earned Grand Champion with her goat and Grand Champion Showmanship. Fellow Clear Springs student Kingston Godeaux took Grand Champion in Agricultural Mechanics, and Sopia Wenner earned Reserve Champion in the same competition.

Clear Springs also placed well in other categories. Kylie Luedecke finished third with her swine and was named Reserve Senior Showman. Daniel Boyle placed seventh and Kaleb Chaidez eighth in Agricultural Mechanics.

Students from Clear Creek High School and Clear Brook High School added to the district's haul. A Clear Creek student identified only as Lillian in district results earned fourth place with her lamb.

Clear Brook, a CCISD campus in Friendswood, sent several winners. Trevor Schilling took Grand Champion and Ariana Zepeda Reserve Champion in the Open Agricultural Mechanics division. Jackson Buford earned a Division Champion title in Agricultural Mechanics, and Autum Burton took Reserve Champion in the same division.

Burton also placed third overall in the senior Creative Arts competition and received a blue ribbon for a second photography entry.

In livestock, Clear Brook's Matthew Artiga placed first in his class and earned Reserve Champion Exotic Heifer. Josephine Hooks placed sixth with her goat.

The Agricultural Mechanics competition requires students to build projects under teacher supervision, applying skills from agricultural science courses. Projects advance through class and division judging before competing for overall champion honors.

CCISD's Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources program is one of several Career and Technical Education (CTE) clusters offered across the 39,684-student district. Details are available on the district's CTE page.
