A year-round Christmas decoration shop opened July 25 at 3202 Marina Bay Drive, Suite I-1, giving League City residents a local option for holiday decorating services and luxury ornaments.

AB Christmas Decor and More, owned by Andrea Browne, sells Christmas tree decorations and garland and offers professional decorating services for homes and businesses. The shop is located inside The Spice Company retail space on Marina Bay Drive.

Browne said in an Aug. 20 Instagram post that the woman-owned business provides full-service design, professional installation and post-holiday teardown for residential homes, storefronts and commercial properties. She is encouraging chamber of commerce members to book early for preferred setup dates ahead of the holiday season.

The shop bills itself as "transforming area homes and businesses for holidays" through both its retail store and design services.

Community Impact first reported the opening, citing staff confirmation.

AB Christmas Decor and More is a member of a local chamber of commerce and is offering early-booking incentives to fellow members. The store hosted a "Sip 'n Shop" event on Aug. 13.

The shop is gaining traction online. It had 798 Instagram followers and 412 Facebook likes as of Aug. 21, with 161 people "talking about this" on Facebook, less than a month after opening.

One visitor, posting on Instagram under the handle @melsonw, described the store after a visit with family:

@melsonw: "Their trees are spectacular and their prices are very reasonable. Wherever you live it's worth the drive. They have a small space with a huge presentation to offer."
