Ace Hardware plans to build a 13,700-square-foot store at 3625 E. League City Parkway.
A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing shows the hardware retailer's new location carries an estimated construction cost of $1.2 million, as first reported by Community Impact Newspaper. The project is privately funded.
The TDLR filing lists a construction start date of Sept. 1, 2026, with a targeted completion of May 1, 2027. The project was registered on Aug. 24, 2026, and its current status reads "Project Registered." Those dates reflect the proposed schedule filed with the state and do not confirm actual construction progress.
No opening date for the store has been announced. Community Impact listed the opening as "TBD."
KSSG Marbella, LLC is the property owner of record, with a League City address at 1532 Colton Way. Koval Architects is the design firm. The filing describes the scope as a new commercial building for a hardware store on private land.
The TDLR registration names the project "Ace Hardware - LC2," suggesting it would be a second League City location for the chain. An existing League City Ace Hardware already operates in the city, though the relationship between the two stores is not clear from public records.
The filing notes that private funds for the project are not provided by the tenant.
No public comment from KSSG Marbella, Ace Hardware corporate or a local franchisee appears in available records. Construction is scheduled to span about eight months, with the May 2027 completion target as the next milestone to watch.
