League City artisans and craft vendors now know what it will cost to set up shop at this year's Harvest Festival: $75 for residents, $150 for everyone else.
Registration opens Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 8 a.m. and runs through Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 5 p.m., according to Galveston Island News. Vendors can sign up online or in person at Hometown Heroes Park. As we reported Aug. 13, the city reviews applications in the order received and notifies applicants roughly three to four weeks before the event.
Each booth measures 10 feet by 10 feet. Vendors must bring their own tables, chairs, tents and equipment.
What to expect Oct. 10
The Harvest Festival runs Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at League Park. The event, which the city has previously described as free and open to the public, features a pumpkin carving contest, a costume contest, crafts, games, face painting, hayrides and food trucks on-site.
The source describes the festival as one of the city's popular fall traditions, with artisan and craft vendors offering holiday shopping alongside the family activities.
Parks and Recreation coordinator Andrew Amido is handling vendor applications. Prospective vendors can reach him at [email protected] with questions about the process.
